Field Trip to Sweden
Sample collection in peatlands
Last week some members of our group (Environmental Microbiology) went on an exciting field trip to Swedish peatlands.
PhD students Giulia Fiorito and Donat Crippa, along with Prof. Dr. Marie Schoelmerich, explored these unique ecosystems and collected many important samples for their research.
They were accompanied by Prof. Dr. Martin Schroth and Prof. Dr. Michael Sander from the Environmental Chemistry group.
