Marie Schölmerich receives SNSF Starting Grant

Marie Schölmerich, group leader of environmental microbiology successfully applied for Starting Grants from the Swiss National Science Foundation.

Congratulations to Marie for being awarded the SNSF Starting Grant! The project "New Drivers of Microbial Methane Cycling" will investigate newly discovered genetic elements found in or associated with methanogenic archaea. We will investigate these in the lab and in pealands undergoing restauration. Read more news about it here:
